Travel through time following a charming little mouse called Minim who loves cheese and music. One day, he witnesses the arrival of a dapper, young Mozart and his family as they set foot on a dock one late, cold night. To the surprise of all, he begins to play with his sister for the tired customs officer and gloomy dockworkers. Author

Ana Gerhard studied as a concert pianist at the National Conservatory of Music in Mexico City and is a renowned music educator. She is a four-time recipient of the Parents’ Choice Award for Little Creatures, Listen to the Birds, Simply Fantastic, and Amazing Water.

Musicians

Founded in 1983, I Musici de Montréal is a chamber orchestra of 15 musicians that performs a vast repertoire extending from baroque to contemporary. The ensemble has released more than 40 recordings and presents a busy schedule of over 100 concerts per season throughout the world.

Narrator

During numerous seasons at the Stratford Festival, Colm Feore achieved fame as one of Canada’s premiere stage actors, playing virtually all of Shakespeare’s leading men. While continuing his work on stage, he also frequently acted on television and in film. He is especially well-known for his supporting roles in notable Hollywood productions The Sum of All Fears, The Amazing Spider-Man 2, and House of Cards.

Illustrator

Marie Lafrance studied graphic arts and etching, worked as a printmaker and has since illustrated many books for children. Her work has been nominated three times for the Governor General’s Literary Award, and she recently won the Ruth and Sylvia Schwartz Children’s Book Award for A Hen for Izzy Pippik.
