Nous sommes
les musiciens !

Songs Carmen Campagne Illustrations Marie Lafrance

Carmen Campagne introduces us to songs she listened to and sang as a child, growing up in a musical family who spent many evenings singing around the piano. Highlights include the well-known French singalongs (« chansons à répondre ») Nous sommes les musiciens ! and Mon père m’envoie au marché.  Marie Lafrance’s lively illustrations are good fun and evoke the shear pleasure musicians get from playing together.
